After a busy season working behind the scenes, we’re delighted to announce that Balgownie Geoscience GeoTours is officially back and preparing for a major year ahead.  Over the past few months, we’ve been refining routes, testing new stops, and building a truly unique blend of geology, castles, whisky, gin and iconic Scottish landscapes.

Our full 2026 GeoTours Schedule will be released in early December — perfectly timed for Christmas gift bookings, early-bird planners, and travellers seeking something different from the usual Scottish tours.

If you’re interested in geology tours in Scotland, Highland Boundary geology, castle and distillery itineraries, or science-based storytelling, this is going to be an exciting season.
